Diagnosing and Treating Pain Medicine Conditions

Chronic pain can last for weeks, months, and even years, and the pain can come and go.

Typically, a person is diagnosed after three or more months of experiencing the pain. Chronic pain can develop as a result of an injury that once it heals continues to be painful, or from diseases like arthritis, cancer, fibromyalgia, and other conditions.

Patients at Innovative Pain & Spine Specialists in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska receive a comprehensive evaluation as the first step toward diagnosing pain issues. Our Nebraska team of pain medicine specialists understands that the treatment of pain encompasses a broad spectrum of acute and chronic pain conditions.
