Dr. Kelly Zach Now Seeing Patients in Omaha
Innovative Pain & Spine is excited to announce that Kelly Zach, MD, will now also see patients one day a week, joining Thomas Brooks, MD, at their Omaha office, located at 17030 Lakeside Hills Plaza, Building 2, Suite 202. Having grown up in Omaha, he looks forward to connecting with his hometown again by helping individuals find relief from pain. Dr. Zach opened the first Innovative Pain & Spine office in Lincoln in 2018, where he will continue to see patients.
Through his expertise in treating a variety of chronic pain conditions, Dr. Zach has been able to help thousands of patients find relief. He takes the time to get to know his patients and the history of their pain so that he can determine the correct diagnosis and course of treatment unique to each person. He uses the most advanced treatment options available, including, but not limited to:

Platelet-rich Plasma Injections
Dr. Zach’s clinical areas of interest include spinal cord stimulation, radiofrequency ablation (treatment of spinal arthritis), and complex regional pain syndrome.
When it comes to getting the best outcomes for his patients, Dr. Zach is known for thinking outside the box and being innovative with treatments. He was one of the first interventional pain management physicians in the Lincoln area to treat patients using high-frequency spinal cord stimulation. He is always in search of state-of-the-art treatments that will improve the quality of life for those living with chronic pain.
Dr. Zach also believes that a multidisciplinary approach is effective. His mission is to offer a comprehensive, personalized treatment regimen with a goal of restoring function and improving the life of each patient. That may include working with providers experienced in areas such as physical rehabilitation, mental health, and alternative modalities.
After graduating from Creighton Prep High School, Dr. Zach continued his studies at Creighton University. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and went on to complete his Anesthesiology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. His interest in pain management led him to continue his training and complete his fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Zach is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management. He is a member of the Spine Intervention Society and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. He is often asked to speak on current interventional pain management protocols and treatments. Since 2018, Dr. Zach has served as medical director for the Bryan Health Pain Management and Opioid Stewardship Program.
When he’s not taking care of patients, Dr. Zach enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching sports.
