Thomas Brooks, MD

Specializing in pain medicine, Thomas Brooks, MD, has over 26 years experience in treating patients with all types of pain conditions. He has a special interest in helping patients with spinal cord stimulation and multiple chronic pain issues. He has helped a significant number of individuals find relief from sacroiliac joint pain, a pain that can mimic a herniated disc or hip problem.

In addition to his practice, Dr. Brooks serves as Associate Professor for the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He is CEO of the Nebraska Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and he is called upon as an expert advisor in interventional pain medicine hearings.

Dr. Brooks grew up in New York, NY, and is married with three grown children. He enjoys spending time with family, boating, trapshooting, reading sci-fi books, and traveling to tropical places and Ireland.

Dr. Brooks sees patients in the Omaha, Nebraska clinic and treats patients with all types of chronic pain problems and is especially interested in the benefits of neuro stimulation, such as Spinal Cord Stimulation, and in helping patients with Sacroiliac Joint Pain.
